Plummer block housing SNH are primarily designed to be used with self-aligning ball bearings or spherical ball bearings, fitted on plain or stepped cylindrical shafts. The bearing can be mounted on an adapter sleeve or directly on a shaft seat.
Nest in the housing is designed for the non-located bearing and is treated in the H8 toleration field.
Nest enables an axial displacements in a build up bearing in both directions. Changes in the shaft length due to the thermal elongating as well as dimensional and installation inaccuracies can be equaled in the housing.
Settling bearings are made by building up two the same kinds of settling rings. In this way is obtained always central seating of the bearing.

Plummer block housing series SN were especially designed to build up spherical roller bearings of a light series 230. SN housings are designed to build up bearings with tapered bore, mounted on adapter sleeves or on shaft seating. SN housings types H with the bigger bore than in the basic type. Are suitable for building up bearings with the cylindrical bore on the removed shift or for building up bearings with tapered bore mounted on adapter sleeves and removed shift.
The nest in the housing, designed for the non-locating bearings, is treated in the H7 toleration field.

Plummer block housing series SD.

Plummer block housing series SD are designed for building up spherical roller bearings with tapered bore, series 231 K, mounted on adapter sleeves or on smooth shaft. The body of the housing is horizontally divided. Dowel pins prevent incorrect composing of both parts of the cover. Top and the bottom of the cover are not exchangeable with appropriate parts of the other housing in the same size.
Longitudinal holes for the bolts enables additional alignment.

Plummer block housing series TVN.

Plummer block housing series TVN are not split and they are designed to build up self-aligning ball bearings and spherical ball bearings with the cylindrical bore to the shafts with the diameter between 25 up to 75 mm. They were originally developed as axleboxes for light rail-bound trucks, but may also be used as conventional plummer blocks. Non-split plummer blocks have higher stiffness than split housings and some can carry heavier loads.
