Track runner bearings, which are rolling bearings having a particularly thick-walled outer ring, can accommodate heavy as well as shock loads. They are ready-to-mount units and are intended for all types of cam drives, tracks, conveyor systems etc. They have spherical or cylindrical outer surface. Cam rollers, narrow design. Cam rollers, narrow design are based on deep groove ball bearings in the 62
series. Cam rollers, wide design. Wide cam rollers have been developed from double row angular contact ball
bearings and have a 25o contact angle. The wide cam rollers incorporate two
snap-type cages of polyamide 6,6 and shields on both sides. Support rollers Support rollers are basically needle or cylindrical roller bearings with a thick-walled outer ring. They are adopted to carrying bigger radial loadings than cam rollers. Support rollers are available in many accomplishments, which defer the characteristic of the axial guidance. While in the support rollers without axial guidance must be guidance surfaces on co-operating axial guidance, guidance surfaces are integrated with the cam rollers. Cam followers Cam followers are ready-to-mount units, inseparable support rollers.
Instead of an inner ring cam followers have a solid stud (pin) which is
threaded so that the cam follower can be quickly and easily attached to
appropriate machine components by means of a hexagonal nut. Axial guidance for
the outer ring is provided by an integral flange at the head of the stud and a
side washer pressed on to the stud, or by the roller complement.
